My thoughts on... The Mystery of the Isleworth Mona Lisa Is the Iselworth “Mona Lisa” a painting by the hand of Leonardo da Vinci as appears to have been scientifically proven? Has anyone ever doubted the “Mona Lisa” Louvre to be a Leonardo da Vinci painting? The “Mona Lisa” Louvre has been X-Rayed and the results show only the great Venetian painters techniques on the underpainting of Giovanni Bellini , Giorgione and Titian . The “Mona Lisa” Louvre painting first appears as a provenance since 1623 after King Louis XIII held it up to tell the world “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci so we all believe him? Is it because he was a King? What is it going to take to put an end to this mystery? Not this mystery of the Iselworth “Mona Lisa” being a real Leonardo but the “Mona Lisa” in the Louvre.
